Oats Chila is a very healthy snack though it is not a typical Bihari dish. It is very simple to make. Oats has lot of fiber and very good for digestion. This dish is very benificial for people willing to lose weight or having diabetes or high cholestrol/ blood pressure.
Prepare a batter mixing 2 cups of Oats powder with 3/4 cups of water. After mixing well add 1 chopped onion, 1 chopped tomato, dhaniya patti (coriander leaves), green chili chopped, salt and black pepper powder in the batter. Heat half spoon oil on nonstick frying pan and spread two table spoons of batter on the pan to make a round Chila. As the bottom part gets cooked, roll it over carefully without breaking the Chila and cook the chila till it becomes light brown.
The Oats Chila is ready to serve, enjoy this dish with sauce or chutney of your liking.
